What are the advantages of led street light compared to traditional street lighting?
Compared with traditional street lamps, LED street lights have the following advantages:
First, the LED is a semiconductor diode and its lifetime is very long. When the luminous flux decays to 80%, its lifetime reaches 25,000 hours. The lifetime of metal halide lamps ranges from 6000 to 12,000 hours, and that of high-pressure sodium lamps is 12,000 hours.
Second, the basic structure of the LED street lamp is an electroluminescent semiconductor material, placed on a leaded shelf, and then sealed with epoxy resin around to protect the internal core, so the LED's seismic performance is good.
Third, the light color of the white LED is better than that of the high pressure sodium lamp. At the intermediate vision level, the human eye can easily distinguish things in a high color temperature environment than a low color temperature environment. The color rendering of white LEDs is also much better than that of high pressure sodium lamps. The color rendering index of high pressure sodium lamps is only 20 right and left, while the white LEDs can reach 65 to 80.
